This case was made to fit a 0.5 oz sunscreen stick so that my daughter could take sunscreen to school and ensure that she could protect her skin, especially her face.

Note: Please check with your school first to see if the students are allowed to bring sunscreen to school (my daughter’s school has approved her bringing it).

The case has a variety of uses, including hand sanitizer and discreetly holding sanitary pads for girls attending middle and high school.

The pattern uses worsted weight cotton and would also work with acrylic (although with acrylic it may stretch). Instructions for making the case longer are included in the pattern, as well as using a button instead of Velcro.
