Small Waves Socks
Do you know these beautiful small waves the wind makes in the surface of the water? They are called ripples and that is what the pattern of these socks remind me of. The pattern ‘knits itself’ because the repetition is visible in the knitting after a few rounds, so you don’t have to check the chart anymore. The repetition gives you a very ‘zen’ feeling :) I wish you lots of knitting fun for now and warm feet for later.

This cuff down pattern with heel flap is easy to knit, also for beginning sock knitters. It is suitable for both knitting with DPNs and magic loop. The instructions for these different type of needles are clearly indicated in the text.

Materials
You choose any (light fingering) sock yarn you like, with a gauge of 30 stitches x 42 rows. The pattern stitch is best visible with solid, light or bright colors.
