This mosaic alphabet is created using the overlay mosaic technique.

It is smaller than the first alphabet I published, therefore giving a little more scope for including in your projects.

The PDF has charts only for uppercase.

You can use any yarn and corresponding hook you like for this pattern, just remember a tighter tension is better for mosaic crochet.

The letters are 13 rows high, and range from between 8 and 12 stitches wide.

Each letter is designed to have one space (one stitch) between them. You can change this if it works better for you.

You can include this free mosaic alphabet in any of your overlay mosaic projects. Please do credit me when posting pictures though.

If it’s easier, you can print out the charts, cut them up and tape them together to form the words you require.
