Smart New Jumper
Very unusual is this delicate green jumper, in simple garter stitch. The lace mesh scarf in green and primrose gives an individual touch.
Pale green wool in 2-ply is used for this attractive little garment, and the soft lace mesh scarf is knitted in two colours, pale green and primrose, the primrose forming the centre band of colour in the scarf. The ribbing of two
plain, two purl, is knitted in double wool, and the remainder of the jumper in garter stitch, in single strand.
Garter stitch worked in the opposite direction forms
the yoke, with a slot in the front, through which the scarf is slipped. The scarf may, of course, be worn in many different ways adapted to suit the wearer.
