So, my smartwatch has a leather band, however the inside of the band is silicone, and I discovered is breaking out my wrist where my watch sits. No clue why, but that was the impetus to come up with this pattern.

It uses whatever Sport / DK weight yarn you wish. And you knit to measurements so gauge isn’t as important (aka, I didnt swatch, my bad, but looking at my band, it’s approx. 4 stitches per inch, if that helps.

The 2 halves are held together by a pair of 2-stitch i-cords, so that the heartbeat sensor can still detect your pulse rate.
