Smilla
Smilla is a cosy hat with long braids and cute bows.
It is is worked in soft and fluffy yarns: one strand of wool and one strand of silk mohair. Some colourful scrap yarns are used for the bows.
SIZING
Size 1, (2, 3)
To fit head circumference of (approx. ages):

CONSTRUCTION
The project starts with knitting six i-cords. The i-cords are seamlessly attached to the cast on edge and the rest of the hat is worked in the round.
The brim of the hat is worked in ribbing on the smaller needles.
The body of the hat is then worked in stockinette stitch on the larger needles. The crown decreases are worked using Magic Loop or dpns.
The i-cords are braided and decorated with tassels and small bows, which are worked with yarn C in stockinette stitch. Finally, the pompom is attached to the top of the hat.
The pattern includes video showing the finishing of the hat.
