This wintery triangular shawl is a quick and fun knit designed for two skeins of fingering weight yarn. The center star is knit in the round, minimizing the use of purl stitches. The pattern contains fully written instructions complimented with a chart for the center star. (It is not necessary to read charts.)
Dieses winterliche Tuch ist designed für zwei Stränge 4-fach Garn. Das Sternmotiv wird in Runden gestrickt, sodass das Stricken schnell von der Hand geht. Die Anleitung enthält komplett ausgeschriebene Instruktionen und eine Strickschrift für das Sternmotiv. (Das Lesen der Strickschrift ist nicht notwendig.)

Yarn
• 2 skeins fingering weight/4-ply yarn (400 m (437 yds)/100 g (3.53 oz) skein)
• The pattern is best suited for solid or semi-solid colourways.
• Sample knit in Greta and the Bear yarns 100% Merino Fingering in the colourway “Smilla”, 744 m (813 yds)/186 g used (without pom-poms).
Needles and Notions
• 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles, 100 cm/40” length
• 5 x 3.5 mm (US 4) double pointed needles (dpns), preferably wood or bamboo
• 2.75 mm (US 2) circular needles, 100 cm/40” length for picking up stitches
• 4.5 mm (US 7) for the bind-off
• 3.5 mm crochet hook for cast-on
• 4 stitch markers
• Stitch holders or scrap yarn.
• Tapestry needle to sew in yarn ends
• Optional: Pom-pom maker (4.5 cm/1.8’’)
