Smocked Mug Cozy
Materials used:
Size 8/H knitting needles
Est. 150 yards worsted weight yarn
Yarn needle (for weaving in ends)
Yarn pictured: Caron Simply Soft in Ocean and Charcoal Grey
Special Stitch: Smock/Smocking St -(with yarn at back of needle) count 6 stitches and insert working needle between 6th and 7th stitch on the other needle (between the loops, NOT in them). YO and draw the yarn between the 6th and 7th loop on your working needle, pulling through enough to stretch the drawn yarn across the six stitches on the other needed. Transfer drawn yarn from working needle to the other needle, and knit the drawn loop together with the next knit st on your needle.
