When Universal’s Cotton Supreme Sequins arrived at the shop, I knew I wanted to design a scarf that would dress up a black coat. I paired it with Mango Moon’s Capra. The scarf is worked in 2 panels, starting at the ends, and then seamed together at the back of the neck. The lace panels are a chevron stitch with open yarn over sections of the cotton by itself alternating with reverse stockinette in the two yarns paired together. If you know basic increases and decreases, this scarf will whip up in no time! I enjoyed working with the sequined yarn so much, I’m already planning my next design…
