SMOKING is a comfortable and feminine sweater with a high neck or a turtleneck. It is knitted from top to bottom seamlessly.
We start the yoke with the collar then the back and the front are formed by increases along a shoulder line and shortened rows. The back and front are then worked back and forth separately to the bottom of the armholes and then joined together to knit the body in the round. The sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round.

Finished bust circumference approximately: 41 (43.25 - 45.25) 47.25 (45.75 (49.5 - 51) 55.5 (59 - 63) inches or 104 (110 - 115) 120 (126 - 130) 141 (150 - 160) cm.
Recommended ease: 4 to 8 inches or 10 to 20 cm of positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number.
Sample is shown in size 3 with 6.25 inches or 16 cm of positive ease.

GAUGE: 21 sts x 28 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in st st with larger needles.

SMOKING est un pull confortable avec un col cheminée ou roulé. Il est tricoté de haut en bas sans couture. On commence l’empiècement par le col puis le dos et le devant sont formés par des augmentations le long d’une ligne d’épaule en côtes et des rangs raccourcis. Le dos et le devant sont ensuite travaillés séparément en aller/retour jusqu’en bas des emmanchures puis rejoints ensemble pour tricoter le corps en rond. Les mailles des manches sont relevées puis travaillées en rond.

Tour de buste du vêtement terminé environ 104 (110 - 115) 120 (126 - 130) 141 (150 - 160) cm.

Il est conseillé de le porter avec une aisance positive de 10 à 20 cm. Pour choisir la meilleure taille, mesurer le tour de poitrine et ajouter l’aisance souhaitée, puis choisir la circonférence de poitrine finie la plus proche de ce nombre. Il est bien sûr possible de choisir d’avoir un tricot plus ou moins près du corps et de tricoter une taille avec plus ou moins d’aisance que préconisé.
Il est présenté en taille 3 avec 16 cm d’aisance positive en version pull.

ECHANTILLON : 21 m x 28 rgs pour 10 x 10 cm en jersey avec les aiguilles 4.

LAINE : le pull se tricote avec deux fils tenus ensemble : un fil de type lace et un fil de type fingering (50g = 420M).
Version crop : env 960 (1020 - 1040) 1110 (1220 - 1370) 1510 (1510 - 1600) m au total de chaque fil.
Version pull : env 1070 (1180 - 1200) 1270 (1400 - 1500) 1570 (1720 - 1830) m au total de chaque fil.
