I have the privilege of seeing the Great Smoky Mountains every day. They are so beautiful and so different every day. On a cloudy day they are rich blue at the bottom and smoky white at the top. This yarn reminded me of that. This project can be a neck warmer, ponytail hat, or beanie. I love the mountains and I love how versatile and quick this project is!

We are going to make the ribbed cuff first and then build the pattern up to the top. We’ll finish it with a drawstring that allows for the different functionalities that make this project so great.

My finished hat/cowl is 9.5” wide and 7.5” tall. It will fit a Medium/Large adult. To make an Adult Small hat, use a 6mm hook.
