The measurements are based on the size of the cardigan before wash ; the cardigan might increase in cm when washed depending on the way it ́s washed. Its recommended to stay true to size, the overall width is based on the total width, and can therefore be adjusted with the placement of the button.

Level : Beginners friendly

Material

Handdyed Chunky baby alpaca, 100% baby alpaca wool from. Super soft and wonderful thread to work with. Each hank consists of 100 m in 100 gr.

Circular needles 40 and 80 cm in 7 mm, extra needle for keeping the sts while the pieces are not knit- ted.
Crochet needle nr 6.
Tapestry needle for stitching the threads.

4 x safety pins.
2 x button 2,5 cm and fine thread to sew the button on. 2 x stitch markers.

2 X DPNs 7 mm.

Tension gauge sample

Be sure to check your own tension before starting to knit.
Cast on 15 stitches and knit 16 rows on needles size 7 mm for a 10 x 10 cm sample. If tension measures too tight, change to a thicker needle.
If tension measures too wide, change to a thinner needle.

Good to know

The cardigan is knitted from the bottom to the top from right and wrong side The body is divided under the armpits to open up for the sleeves and knitted as three separat pieces; front and back side. The sleeves are knitted from the opening for armpits / or they can be knitted and crocheted on to the body.
