I thrifted this vintage acrylic yarn with a slight mohair-like haze, and the combo of colours in the yarn – blue-green with a golden-pink haze – made me think of sunsets on a tranquil sea. I called this Smyltnesse which is Old English for “serenity, tranquility, quiet silence”. Enjoy the calmness and peace of knitting this lovely stole.
