This pattern is all colorwork. It assumes you can use your own judgement to switch between intarsia and stranded as you see fit. Since its going to be seamed up, no one will see your floats, so however you want to work it, will work just fine!

Materials:
• Size US 6 knitting needles (or needles to get a firm fabric with your choice of yarn)
Note, you may use any weight yarn you like, as long as all yarns are the same weight (using worsted
will result in a roughly 5’6 snake

• ~ 200 yards light grey or beige yarn
• ~ 100 yards cream yarn
• ~ 100 yards brown yarn
• ~ 100 yards black yarn
• ~ 50 yards maroon yarn
• Stuffing
• Safety eyes
• Tapestry needle
Optional
• Pipe cleaners, or a few unbent metal coathangers, if you would like your snake to be poseable
• An old pair of pantyhose
• Polypellets, rice, or dry beans
