Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This 13 pages Miniature snail brooch pattern includes detailed instructions with plenty of photo references to instruct you on how to crochet toy.
Create by Marina Filippova.
Materials and tools:
- Beige cotton yarn and suitable hook size. I used 1mm crochet hook. The size of your brooch depends on the hook size and thickness of yarn.
- Toy stuffing (fiber filler).
- Needle with suitable thick ear through which the thread passes.
- Acrylic varnish or PVA glue.
- Acrylic paint for drawing (white and brown colors), brushes. It is better to have two different brushes for your own convenience. The first one is thicker, harder and flatter. The second one is thinner, rounder for narrow spots.
- Black thin thread to embroider the eyes, the needle for this thread. You can use tiny beads to make the eyes.
- The clasp for the brooch.
- Additionally – sewing pins (you will need them while shaping the brooch).
