Here are two lovely Snail Shell designs, perfect for a freeform collage, or to use as embellishments or toys.

There are two designs included in this pattern, which were designed for the International Freeform Forum - IFFF Group CKAL - Down by the Seashore, which took place during July/August, 2016.

Any yarn with its appropriate needles may be used for these patterns, which are suitable for an adventurous beginner, and help is always available in the group. The first design uses straight needles, while the second calls for short dpns, and both are sewn into a spiral shape at the end.

The last photo shows the first easy design, sewn tightly into shape, and embroidered.
