Snail trail parade shawl
This is a lace crochet shawl pattern with a lot of texture to it. It uses special stitches, the pap-stitch, which is similar to the bead stitch. The shawl got its name from the look of the pattern and the pap-stitches. I think they look like snails, all lined up in proper rows, sort of like in a parade. It’s an easy, repetitive pattern with few repeating rows to remember. Easily adaptable to any size, big or small!
This pattern includes instructions and diagrams. There is a diagram for the pattern itself as well for each of the two different edges. One plain edge (a more discrete version) and one a bit sassier, called “fancy” edge. This way you can customize the look of the shawl according to your own liking! I’m hoping you enjoy this pattern!
A video says more than pictures sometimes. Check this pattern out in my “showcase” video here
