Snakewood is a large DK yarn shawl, warm for the winter. Its textured sections are separated by contrasting lines that bring a touch of color.

Gauge:
19 sts and 27 rs = 4”x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) in stockinette stitch and 4 mm (US 6) needles.

Size:
73.5” x 26.75” (187 cm x 68 cm)

Materials:

• De Rerum Natura, Penelope (90% wool, 10% silk, 145 yds/133 m for 50 g), 5 skeins or about 720 yds/650 m of DK weight yarn, color Bois flotté (main color).
• De Rerum Natura, Penelope (90% wool, 10% silk, 145 yds/133 m for 50 g), 1 skein or about 145 yds/133 m of DK weight yarn, color Belle Etoile (contrast color).
• 4 mm (US 6) needles or size to obtain gauge.
