Materials
Yarn: Super bulky orange (approximately 45-60 yds), super bulky green (approximately 30 yds), worsted weight black (approximately 30 yards), small amount of worsted weight white.

Note: 2 strands worsted weight held together can be substituted but will affect the size of the hat. Check gauge and follow directions for a larger size if needed.

Crochet Hook - Not all hooks are needed for each size: H, J, I, K, N (9mm)

Miscellaneous: yarn needle, 2 small black buttons for eyes, sewing needle and thread

Gauge: 4” in super bulky weight with N hook = 6.5 rounds and 10 hdc sts

Sizes: Child (2-4 years), Child Large (5-10 years), Preteen - Adult

Notes For All Sizes
The directions start at the top of the hat. for a plain beanie top (no stem).
Variations included at end of pattern.
Add additional rounds to the base hat for length if needed.
