These socks are worked from the top down and feature a German short-row heel – my current favorite heel construction. With an easy textured stitch detail at the top of the sock, you can knit this sock pattern with solid, semi-solid, gradient or self-striping sock yarn with beautiful results. Snapdragon is written for five sizes (52, 56, 60, 64, and 68 stitch counts), which makes them perfect to knit for yourself and a friend (or two)!

I have a video tutorial for the German Short Row Heel. You can find it on my YouTube channel, YarnPurpose, or by following this link: https://youtu.be/m2TOd5Io2aU
