This is a fun and quick plant hanger pattern with 5 sneaky skulls hiding out at the bottom of the base.
Easily adaptable with any yarn for a smaller or larger final piece.

This pattern as written will create a hanger for a 12 inch / 30.5 cm tray or plate in the base, but can easily also hold a pot or planter without the base. It’s easy to adjust to your own total height / hanging length by adjusting chains in the final step.

I used about 85 yards (78 meters), about half a skein, of Lion Brand Re-Spun Thick and Quick 100% recycled polyester as this yarn doesn’t have much stretch and will hold up if it gets wet when I water my plants.
