Sneaky Squirrel- Canada 150 Series
Sneaky Squirrel is dressed to kill! She is on the prowl to find a mate at the celebration July 1st. She was luck enough to find a dollar store bracelet that sparkles and fits her just perfectly. With this flashy piece of jewellry around her neck, she is bound to attract attention as she joins in the festivities.
Sneaky is worked in the same sock yarn as Gigi Gopher and her tail is done in Fun Fur in Café color. The Copper Colours yarn is, as with Gigi, the perfect colour to match a squirrel’s coat.
This pattern is knit in one piece from the derriere to the nose. The limbs and ears are added later. When the tail is done it is attached to the back of the body.
A walnut or pecan in her hand and Sneaky is all set. When will this party get started?
The fourth in the series Canada 150 Celebration Series, this wee animal is an easy knit. Full instructions are given to help you create another of our native animals.
And, if you are not celebrating the 150 birthday, make this darling anyway.. she is adorable! easy! takes very little yarn! and - who can not fall in love with her style?
Happy Knitting everyone.. xo wendy
