These socks feature both cables and lace patterning, giving the appearance of ebb-and-flow, up-and-down. It reminds me of hiking in Colorado, especially the crags and meadows of Mt. Sneffels. While working in the round, alternating cable/lace sections will be knit. Lace panels sit at the front and back of the sock, with cables running down the side. After the heel, the lace and cables are worked on the front of the foot; bottom is stockinette. The front lace panel carries on through the toe if you so choose.

Size is easily adaptable simply by changing needle size.
