Skill level: Intermediate

Yarn: Worsted weight 100% cotton yarn. (I used cotton because it is washable; however any yarn fibre will work.)

Colours: your choice

Knitting Needles: 4mm (US6) or size to match your yarn gauge. (For the smaller pieces I used a set of 4mm (US6) - 13cm (5in) long DP needles.)

Notions:

• Tapestry needle
• Tape measure
• One 10mm button or bead (Only required if you are not making the knitted or crocheted closure.)
• A pocket pack of tissues

Size:
The holder will fit - Kleenex pocket pack, Caspari Hankies, Sniffs or any brand of tissues which is approximately 10 x 5 cm (4 x 2 in) in size.

This is a very customizable project, once you knit the Kleenex holder there are several pattern options included for closures.

• A knitted flower.
• A knit loop and knit bobble.
• A crocheted loop and crocheted bobble.
• Either the knit or crocheted loop and a pretty button or bead.

Depending on how you sew the knitted piece together the opening will be in one of three locations – either on the long edge, or the short edge, or the flat centre opening.
