Once on a vacation in France, I found a kit with a nice little shawl in tweed yarn. That pattern is long gone, and I have not been able to find the pattern anywhere. This shawl was designed based on the style of the old worn shawl, though in the somewhat more powerful Noro yarn. And it’s still a cool shawl.

Needle: Circular no 5 mm US8
Gauge: 14 stitches and 36 rows = 10 cm x10 cm 4 in x 4 inin garter stitches
