Prior Knowledge and experience of crochet and knitting is suggested but not necessary for this project. This project uses basic stitches of both crochet and knit to complete. This pattern uses US terminology. The project begins with simple crochet stitches and switches to knit for the end of the project. Cotton yarn is suggested but not necessary. Acrylic yarn can easily be substituted for this pattern. A Worsted or Aran weight yarn is suggested to achieve this size. I did not do a gauge swatch. The radius of the finished band is 10 inches and measures 9 ½ inches from the top center to the bind off edge.
