Snorkmaiden
Version 2.0 is out!
- Now with written row by row chart for the cables.
- Improved decreases for the cable ends.
Snorkmaiden is a small troll of the Snork family. She lives in the Moominvalley and she wears a golden anklet that she is very proud of.
This design sprung from the want to wear something as
elegant on my own ankles. It’s not golden as hers but I think
it’s still pretty cool!
The intarsia cables are knitted with individual balls of
yarn which make them pop out from the background, unlike they
would if they were just knitted with one ball of contrasting
color or even the same color.
I had a lot of fun playing around with the cables. Perfecting
the ends of the cables took some time with much trial and
error.
I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I did!
