This pattern is worked flat and seamed. The tail back and head are one piece and the tummy another. The wings and beak are attached after stuffing. The eyes are round black glass beads sewm on with beading thread. There are pictures included in the pattern to show how to put the bird together.

The yarn I used is a sparkly acryillic, called Vanna’s Glamour. It is a “2 fine”. I like the lightness of the yarn for this project. It’s knit on 3mm needles. For help with seaming the body, check out this link. I also use an overcast seam for closing the bird after stuffing and attaching the wings.
