How’s that? A yarn crawl? Yep - even if you can’t travel, or shops aren’t able to open yet, we’re on: the Slow Crawl is virtual again this year, too! That actually means you can join in from anywhere!
Get a passport from this shop or other participating shops (they’re $10)
Starting May 26th, visit all the shops - online, or safely in person
Each participating shop will give you the download codes for their pattern and a sticker or stamp for your passport (purchase required for virtual “visits”)
Fill up your passport, and be eligible for prizes!
These fingerless gloves are knit in the round using a twisted knit stitch (also known as Bavarian knitting)
which is as simple as knitting into the back of the stitches to create a more prominent raised stitch and at the same time, working a 2-stitch traveling cable to create the snowdrop chart. The chart is only worked on the top of the hand. Twisted ribbing defines the thumb gusset and twisted knits make up the palm part of the gloves.
