Stitches with abbreviations used: k=knit; p=purl; sl=slip stitch (with yarn in front, slip stitch purl wise, then move yarn to back.), yon=yarn over needle; sk2p=slip one stitch, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over previous stitch; k2tog=knit 2 together; ssk=slip 2 stitches, place them back on left needle, then knit 2 together in the back loops.
