Snow Feather Wrap
The subtle texture of the rectangular wrap is from the traveling stitches used in the pattern. The motifs in this scarf are reminiscent of peacock feathers. This seemingly complicated pattern is an easy rhythm after a few repeats. I used two yarns held together, but you can easily substitute them for a single yarn. I love the way the mohair accentuated the stitch pattern here. It gives the traveling stitches a subtle shadow. Please note that I have not twisted the stitches in the pattern. If you do twisted stitches, it would provide a tighter more defined stitch pattern. But that would mean you would have to also twist stitches on the wrong side for a more uniform pattern. You can use cable needles, but it is an opportunity to practice without cable needles and makes for a better experience.
