I used 2 strands of yarn held together and worked on 2 pegs for the entire pattern. This is a super easy beginner pattern and goes very quickly! For each strand of yarn you only need 6 1/2 yards of yarn, so it is also great for using up scrap yarn. This pattern is the companion of my Fun Flowers pattern which can also be found in my designs section. The flowers are too heavy for a pipe cleaner if using them in a vase (without additional support such as pebbles to prop up the pipe cleaners. I couldn’t resist using the sparkly pipe cleaners!) For a more sturdy flower stem, a wooden dowel could be painted and hot glued to the flower.
