Inspired by my love of snowflakes (stellar dendrites) and a tribute to Wilson Alwyn “Snowflake” Bentley, born in Jericho VT, on February 9th 1865, I’ve designed a hat pattern to include a few
different snowflakes. Although the charted snowflakes are not six-sided as stellar dendrites are, this pattern is just as fun to knit as snow is to play in.
Fine-tuning of the hat size can be done by adjusting the needle size. The height of the pattern can be adjusted by omitting certain rounds. Larger size adjustment can also be made, and instructions to do so are included in the pattern.
