Snow hat
This pattern is made for a slouchy hat knitted in the round. It includes two different sizes in “slouchiness”.
The circumference is about 53 cm.
If you like stranded knitting this is a nice project. The colourwork part is repetitive and easy to follow.
Gauge in the stranded part:
Smaller hat 35 stitches x 35 rows = 10 x10 cm (23 cm long)
Bigger hat 32 stitches x 30 rows =10 x 10 cm (26 cm long)
You will need:
2,5 mm 40 cm circular needles
2,5 mm double point needles (when making the top of the hat)
6 stitch markers
Tapetsry needle to weave in the ends.
50 grams main colour yarn (MC)
50 garms contrast colour yarn (CC)
Bigger hat also needs: 3,0 mm 40 cm circular needles
A tips to all of you that´s a bit sensitive to wool, you can sew a cotton headband and hand sew it to the inside of the hat as a lining.
Have fun knitting, and don´t hesitate to contact me if theres anything wrong with the pattern.
