Once every few years we see some snow in the deserts of the Southwest. It’s not much, barely there, just like this shawl, but still looks beautiful. The shawl is very simple, yet easy to wear, since it wraps around. It is started at the neck, and increased in four places, making it ultimately a square shawl. The pattern is versatile enough to be made in any yarn and with any size needle. It is also easy enough to follow, so you can just sit back and relax, watching television while knitting it (as long as you remember to increase every other row).
