About:
As the leaves fall and a crisp cold breeze passes me by I feel that change, that excitement that comes with a new season. I anticipate all that it brings, holidays, hot cocoa, and if I am lucky, SNOW! Upon feeling the change in the air I begin desiring warm cozy knits. I imagine wearing them as the snow falls outside my window while I am snuggled up in my beautiful sweater drinking hot cocoa.

This pattern is a product of that desire, a stranded colorwork sweater perfect to wear out on a beautiful snowy day or inside drinking cocoa! It is knit from the bottom up in the round. There is no steeking or knitting colorwork flat. You simply stop using your contrasting color when you split for your sleeves. After shoulder seams are in place you pick up stitches and knit the sleeves in the round from shoulder to cuff, adding just a touch of colorwork at the wrist.

I hope that you enjoy this knit as much as I enjoyed dreaming it up!

Gabie
