Using the simple, yet intricate looking mermaid stitch, this textured pattern adds a little somethin’ to your fall and winter wardrobe (or your year-round wardrobe if you live in the tundra). Be your own snow mermaid with this beautiful toque!

This pattern is worked in the round, bottom up (brim to crown) and is worked in a repeating pattern. To increase or decrease the circumference of the hat, cast on multiples of four stitches. Switch to DPNs during the decrease as the circumference of the crown gets smaller to make knitting easier.

This pattern includes the following sizes: toddler, S/M, and L/XL.

Final Measurements: Toddler 15 cm (6 in) across and 17 cm (6.5 in) brim to crown, S/M 20 cm (8 in) across and 23 cm (9 in) brim to crown, L/XL 23 cm (9 in) across and 23 cm (9 in)
