Inspired by a recent visit to Metsovo in Greece, the mittens are easy to make, with beginner knitters in mind.

• DESCRIPTION
The mittens are easy to make, with advanced beginner knitters in mind.
Using knit and purl stitches, you will create ribbing, for the cuff, learn to knit in the round and it will also introduce you to decreasing and shaping.
This pair of mittens will be super cosy to wear in the cold weather.
Yarn
1 skein (or half) of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick in Fisherman.
1 skein of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick in Graphite.
Super bulky/super chunky/14 ply yarn.
Needles
Set of 10.00mm (US 15) 9” or 16″ circulars
• SKILLS
Level – Easy
This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, stranded knitting, increasing, decreasing and working in the round.
• SIZING
Women’s medium
Finished measurements – laying flat and unstretched = 8 inches circumference / 10 inches long including the cuff.
