Snow on Spruce
Thick heavy silence after a freshly fallen snow. Chickadees and juncos fluttering between the spruce boughs, occasionally knocking down cascades of snow in their playful meanderings . The crisp scent of winter lingering in the air…
This is the second pattern in the Manitoba Collection, a series of patterns inspired by various locations throughout the province of Manitoba, Canada.
The colour and stitch pattern of this garment are reminiscent of the thick blanket of freshly-fallen snow resting on spruce boughs, a beautiful display quite common throughout much of Manitoba during the long winter months. This sight was the inspiration for this garment.
