Inspired by my beautiful home of Cold Lake, Alberta. I created this simple beginner friendly cowl. This cowl is a great introduction to knitting simple garter stitches and slipped stitches to create a beautiful texture. Two methods have been offered for the cast on and cast off. Links for these techniques are provided throughout the pattern. I hope that you will choose the one you love or be introduced to something new and magical. You will begin with casting on and proceed to working through the main body of the cowl and then joining the two ends together. The yarns used for this cowl are from our Snow on the Beach Dyerfest. This pattern contains written instructions.
