Snow Sheep Cowl
Lots of cowls fall away from your face, and I walk in the woods in the cold a lot, so want a cowl that will “stay up” when I need it to on a cold windy day.
So I attach a strand of single crochet to the inside of the cowl. (you can do one on each side so it hooks over two ears ) When walking, i take the crochet loop and hook it over my ear. Cowl stays up and my hands are free! Instructions included in pattern*
So this cowl concludes my sheep obsession.
For now. One more surprise item to come in the fall. As of now, Two hats and a cowl dedicated to Icelandic Sheep. These sheep are surveying their world atop a deep mound of snow, as winter in Iceland runs from November to April. Follow @farmlifeiceland on Instagram to see how it is!
I love knitting animals and until February 2023, I have never created a hat or other item featuring sheep. I am happy with what I have here, I hope you enjoy these fuzzy, wooly, curvy-horned sheep too!
Two sizes are included. Tighter and Looser. Looser shown in photos.
Always choose size to knit based on desired circumference.
