This beanie is ideal for those very cold spells, or those very cold places. The beanie is double layered, made in Merino, in the weight of your choice. Both the inner beanie and the outer beanie are done in stocking stitch. The two layers are knitted separately, then the ribbing stitches are picked up through both layers and knitted at the end. The beanie is not reversible, as the inner beanie is slightly smaller than the outer beanie to ensure a comfortable fit.

The pattern is perfect to use up yarn scraps.

The pattern makes provision for six sizes: newborn / baby / toddler / child / teen / adult.

The pattern also makes provision for three different yarn weights: fingering / double knit / aran.
