If you are a knitter looking for a simple, fast knitting and warm hat then this is the pattern for you! This hat can easily be knit in about 6-8 hours depending on skill. I started on New Years day and finished it two days later in time for the weekend. This is a great pattern for a last minute gift.

Skills: Knitters will be required to work in the round, Knit and Purl, Decrease using K2tog & P2tog, and Cable 2 and 6 stitches (instructions included).

Materials: Needles; 6mm 16’’ Circular Needle and a set of 6mm Double Pointed Needles, Stitch marker, & Cable Needle. Also required is some sort of Pom Pom maker. I used a 2’’ CLOVER Brand pom pom maker.
Yarn; Berroco Vintage Chunky Colour: 6101

Gauge: 3.5 sts = 1’’

This pattern is worked in multiples of 12 sts and is repeated 4 times. For a ‘’sloutchy’’ look simply add an additional 12 stitches to the cast on number and repeat the pattern an additional time to make 5 repeats in total.
