THIS IS A KNITTING PATTERN

This piece is worked back and forth on a large circular needle to accommodate the large number of stitches. you then knit a lace border to sew around the edges and cinch it in for a circular look.

please take into account that this garment will be entirely blocked so the lace can bloom, resulting in a much larger garment then you think it is going to be, sure, you can leave it unblocked, because of the carefully constructed edges, it will not curl, but really, the lace takes on a life of its own when blocked.
