Snow White’s Woodland Capelet is an Original Pattern that Mom & I
designed together. It is from our Storybook Collection. I decided that most adventurous ladies would love to wear a Woodland Capelet so we included 2 sizes: XSmall/Small & Medium/Large. The capelet features rows of sweet tulips that make up the body (keeping with the woodland theme). Using the same yarn, I trimmed the top & bottom borders with a lovely contrasting color, adding more visual interest. The capelet is comfortable and easy to take on & off. It also allows for great range of motion, which is important if you are fleeing from a Huntsman through the woods!!

This pattern is for the Intermediate Knitter. It has been knitted out of Kelbourne Woolens “Scout” Yarn. I used almost a full skein in the color “Meadow Heather” for the body & approximately 7 yards of the color “Sunflower Heather” for the trim. You can also knit it out of any other DK weight yarn that has nice drape.
