This is a basic stocking stitch sweater with 2 colour stranded fair-isle type patterning for the Snowballs.

Please note: the pattern includes a copy of my original handwritten chart.

You will need:

King Cole Galaxy DK 65% acrylic, 31% wool,
4% soft payette (approx 175m/ 191 yards per 50g)
5 (5: 5: 6: 6: 6) x 50g balls 683 Mercury (A)
3 (3: 3: 4: 4: 4) x 50g balls 684 Saturn (B)

1 pair each 3.25mm, 3.75mm and 4mm needles
2 stitch holders
Stitch marker

Note: Yarn amounts given are based on average
requirements and are approximate.

23 sts and 29 rows to 10 cm (4 in) over plain st st using 3.75mm needles.
24 sts and 26 rows to 10 cm (4 in) over patt using 4mm needles.
Use larger or smaller needles if necessary to obtain correct tension.
