Snowballs in Hogsmeade is a beanie that blends cables, bobbles, and ribbing. It is based on the hat Hermione wore in the movie of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, during the scene in Hogsmeade where invisible Harry throws snowballs at Malfoy.

For my sample, I used US size 6 (4mm) circular needles (16”) and Loops & Threads Joy DK, 1 skein of Spearmint.

Gauge is based on a swatch of unblocked stockinette stitch.

The pattern is written for one size, which stretches to fit 20” to 24” head circumferences.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.
