Snowbird Baby Blanket
Snowbird Baby Blanket
This pattern was made for a pram/stroller size but can easily be adapted to any width by adding a multiple of 14 sts and working to your desired length.
The pattern itself carries over 4 rows of work, and seems complicated at first but, is, in fact, quite easy. Once you have done a couple of rows, you will find it is easy to remember what to do next. The only thing to keep track of is the beginning and ending sts on each row.
With worsted weight yarn, this blanket works into a light, airy blanket, which is also soft and sufficiently snuggly to keep baby cosy on a cold day.
All you need is 3 skeins of worsted weight (aran/10ply) yarn (or more if you decide to make the blanket bigger), a 5mm hook, and a yarn needle.
Enjoy!
