The Snowbird Socks are quick to knit in dk weight yarn. They are knit top down with a heel flap and gusset. The fun leg striping is created using slipped stitches and small amounts of solid colored yarn from two to nine different colors. You can enjoy creating your own personal striping sequence. Your finished socks will be soft, squishy and wonderful to wear. Be warned though, if you decide to make a pair for a gift, you just may want to keep them for yourself.
