Snowdrops are the first flowers of the year, getting their name from how they often start blooming while there’s still snow on the ground. These flowers might not actually resemble snowdrops that closely in shape, but they certainly look like they’ve been hanging out in the snow.

The Snowdrop Cowl is worked flat, closing with buttons. It features ribbing along all four edges to allow for a nice slouchy fit, but instructions are also provided for an alternate edging for those who would prefer to work the cowl all in one piece.

Despite the prominent colourwork, only 15 out of 35 rows of the colourchart feature more than one colour. Out of those rows, only three have three colours and the rest are only two colours.

I used approximately half a skein each of Malabrigo Mecha for the white and black, along with about a third of a skein of the blue.
